Bilingual Caregiver & OT | Elderly Support Afternoons

Hello! My name is Maria and I recently arrived in the area. I am currently learning French and attend classes in the mornings, so I am available in the afternoons and evenings. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I’m happy to communicate in either language. I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with professional experience in home health, where I supported adults and elderly clients in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life in their own homes. My work included assistance with daily activities (such as dressing, mobility, and routines), fall prevention, and creating personalized strategies to support physical and cognitive well-being. In addition, I have 10 years of experience as a home health aide, providing attentive and respectful care. I am comfortable offering companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and support with daily routines. I approach every client with patience, empathy, and dignity, understanding the importance of preserving independence while offering the right level of support.
